Terms & Conditions
Last updated: 1 July 2026 | Effective date: 1 January 2025
These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Tradora platform, available at tradora.in and its associated services. By registering an account, accessing the platform, or using any of our features, you agree to be bound by these Terms in full. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must not use Tradora.
Please read these Terms carefully before proceeding. We also encourage you to read our Privacy Policy and Disclaimer, which are incorporated by reference into these Terms.
1. About Tradora
Tradora is an educational paper-trading simulator that allows registered users to practice equity and derivatives (F&O) trading using virtual funds against live National Stock Exchange (NSE) market data. Tradora is designed exclusively for learning, skill-building, and educational exploration.
Tradora is NOT:
- A stock broker registered with SEBI under the SEBI (Stock Brokers) Regulations, 1992
- An investment adviser registered under the SEBI (Investment Advisers) Regulations, 2013
- A research analyst registered under the SEBI (Research Analysts) Regulations, 2014
- A portfolio manager or fund manager of any kind
- A financial services provider, payment bank, NBFC, or any other regulated financial entity
All transactions on the platform are simulated. No real securities are bought, sold, transferred, or held. No real money is deposited, withdrawn, or traded.
2. Eligibility
To use Tradora, you must:
- Be at least 18 years of age. By registering, you represent that you are 18 or older.
- Have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement under applicable Indian law.
- Not be located in a jurisdiction where use of the platform is prohibited by local law.
- Provide accurate, truthful, and current registration information.
3. Account Registration and Security
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You agree not to share your username or password with any third party. You are solely responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. If you suspect unauthorised access, you must notify us immediately at support@tradora.in.
Tradora reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that show signs of unauthorised access, abuse, or violation of these Terms without prior notice.
4. Educational Purpose and No Investment Advice
Everything on the Tradora platform — including chart analysis tools, AI-generated trade feedback, market commentary, simulated P&L, strategy suggestions, and all other content — is provided for educational and informational purposes only.
Nothing on Tradora constitutes or should be interpreted as:
- Investment advice or a recommendation to buy, sell, or hold any security
- A trading signal or buy/sell call
- Research analysis under SEBI regulations
- A guarantee of profit, return, or any specific outcome — virtual or real
- Financial planning, tax advice, or legal advice of any kind
Any real-world financial decisions you make remain entirely your own responsibility. Consult a SEBI-registered investment adviser before making any actual investment.
5. Virtual Funds and Simulated Trades
All accounts begin with a virtual balance (as specified in your subscription plan). This virtual capital:
- Has absolutely no real-world monetary value
- Cannot be converted into cash, cryptocurrency, or any other asset
- Cannot be withdrawn, transferred, or gifted
- Does not represent ownership of, or entitlement to, any actual securities
Simulated trades use live NSE market data for realism but do not result in any real transaction. Past simulated performance is not indicative of future real-world trading results.
6. Subscription Plans and Payments
Tradora offers a free plan and paid subscription tiers. Paid plans grant access to additional educational features such as advanced chart tools, options simulation, and AI-powered trade analysis. Payments are processed securely through Razorpay. By subscribing, you authorise us to charge the applicable fee to your selected payment method.
Subscriptions auto-renew at the end of each billing cycle unless you cancel before the renewal date. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period — you retain access to paid features until then.
For refunds, see our Refund Policy. Paid subscriptions provide access to educational software tools only. They do not provide investment advice, brokerage services, or real-money trading access of any kind.
7. Acceptable Use Policy
You agree to use Tradora only for lawful educational purposes. You must not:
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, copy, or distribute any part of the platform or its data
- Use automated scripts, bots, or crawlers to access platform data
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to other users' accounts or any server infrastructure
- Use the platform to spread misinformation, spam, or harmful content
- Attempt to exploit leaderboard rankings or gamification features through artificial means
- Use the platform in any way that could damage, overburden, or impair its performance
- Impersonate any person or entity, or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity
Violation of this Acceptable Use Policy may result in immediate account suspension or termination without refund.
8. Market Data
Live NSE market data displayed on Tradora is sourced through licensed data providers and is used solely for educational simulation. This data may have delays of up to 15 minutes from the live market. Tradora makes no warranties regarding the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of market data. Market data is provided "as-is" for simulation purposes only and must not be relied upon for real-world trading decisions.
9. Intellectual Property
All content on Tradora — including the platform's design, code, text, graphics, AI models, logos, and branding — is the intellectual property of Tradora and its licensors. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the platform for personal, non-commercial educational purposes. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, publish, display, or create derivative works of any platform content without our prior written permission.
10. Disclaimer of Warranties
The platform is provided on an "as-is" and "as-available" basis, without warranties of any kind, express or implied. Tradora does not warrant that the platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Tradora and its directors, employees, partners, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or other intangible losses, arising from: (a) your use of or inability to use the platform; (b) any errors or inaccuracies in simulated data; (c) any real-world financial decisions you make based on platform content; or (d) any loss of virtual funds within the simulator.
12. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Tradora and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, obligations, losses, liabilities, costs, or debt arising from: (a) your use of the platform in breach of these Terms; (b) your violation of any third-party right, including any intellectual property or privacy right; or (c) any claim that your use of the platform caused damage to a third party.
13. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the platform at any time, with or without cause, and with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the platform ceases immediately. Sections 9 (Intellectual Property), 10 (Disclaimer), 11 (Limitation of Liability), and 12 (Indemnification) survive any termination of these Terms.
14. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of India.
15. Changes to These Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email (for account holders) and a notice on the platform. Continued use of the platform after the updated Terms are posted constitutes acceptance. If you do not agree to the revised Terms, please discontinue use and delete your account.
